How it started?
Began as a wild idea after the city of Cagayan de Oro experienced Sendong last December 17, 2011.

How to do it?

We believe that massive tree planting from CDO river to Bukidnon area, especially in the buffer zone of Mount Kitanglad Range, can control the heavy rainfall from the mountains going to CDO


To date, the Grow A Tree Save The Future Movement has planted thousands of tree seedlings along the riverbanks of the Cagayan de Oro river as well as its nearby areas.

GlobalChips donates a check and printer to 75th Xavier Days

HP Philippines, through the effort of GlobalChips Technologies, donated a check and an HP OJ 4355 All-In-One Printer to Xavier University  President Fr. Jet Villarin S.J.

This donation will be used to support the activities of the 75th Xavier Days, an annual celebration of the school founded by Jesuit missionary  Fr. James Hayes S.J. in 1933.

Miss Kagay-an 2010 receives an HP Mini

A STUDENT of Lourdes College is crowned as this year’s Miss Kagay-an during the coronation night held on Thursday at the Atrium of Limketkai Center.

Virnajenn L. Bacus, 18, bested 11 other candidates vying for the crown as she unanimously got the nod of the judges.

“Naj,” as she is fondly called by relatives and friends, represented Barangay Macasandig in the annual beauty pageant.

As Miss Kagay-an 2010, Naj pocketed P50,000 cash and a laptop from Global Chips. She also took home an additional P10,000 cash for winning the Best in Swimsuit and grabbed a Samsung  cellphone for being chosen as Ms. Samsung 2010.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jennifer Ledesma, Naj was described by the pageant’s director, Glenn C. Cabral, as having “a great determination in life” and “displays enormous strength, being an orphan at nine-month old.”

“She is also good in class,” Cabaral says during a recent interview.
